The activity of a rodent highly depends upon the availability of a food source, water source, and harbourage which may be situated either or both internally and externally, though once a rodent gains access to a property activity may increase due to the availability of all sources making perfect conditions for rearing a litter. The activity of rodents is mainly nocturnal and is at a minimum during the day (unless the infestation is high or their food sources are low). Besides squirrels, rodents aren't particularly seasonal, though activity may increase within a premise toward or within the autumn and winter periods resulting in the spread of disease and contamination within a property, damage to building materials, stock and foodstuffs and distress toward occupants within a premise.
Below is a selection of rodents that may be found infesting our homes or places of the business internally or externally.
