The habitual behaviour of flying insects will differ from crawling insects giving their ability of flight, though similar traits are shared in regards to foraging and even more so coming into contact with unsanitary environments and objects before entering a property spreading disease and contaminating anything touched. They may also pose a threat due to their ability to sting or bite people for either a food source or as a defense mechanism, though the least harmful of flying insects are likely to pose as a nuisance to occupants. With the exception of a number of the fly species, they find most properties highly suitable for foraging and/or laying eggs to eventually become adults whilst exploiting their cryptic abilities (with the exceptional sightings) until an infestation becomes severe enough to overwhelm a property or the occupants within.
